Naga, the mother of Komodo dragons lived on Komodo island for a long, long time. After a long time of walking all over the island and feeling lonely she came across a village fell in love with a man who live there, called Majo. They both feel deeply in love with one another. Over some time, they got married and everyone in the village turned out to give them they blessings and create the most beautiful wedding anyone on the Island had ever seen. They were happy living together. Then after two years together Naga gave birth to twins. One of the twins was a boy called Gerong and the other was a Komodo dragon called Ora. Ora lived in the wild, while her bother was raised by villages in the local village. Due to being different species Ora and Gerong did not they each had a twin.
This changed in time because one day Gerong was out in the jungle hunting for a deer to feed the village . He spotted the dear in the clearing, raised his spear and throw it at the deer. He made a clean kill. Just as he reached the deer and took his spear out a Komodo dragon approached the deer and wanted to eat it. The Komodo dragon was Ora. Gerong thinking about the hungry people in his village picked up the spear once again and was about to throw it at Ora’s heart, when all of a sudden Naga appeared through the clearing in the jungle. She had been keeping an eye on both her children. Naga then shouted at Ora not to kill his twin brother. From that day onward, Gerong and the people of Komodo vowed to protect not only Ora but Naga as well, seeing them not just as animals, but as kin, as they were. Naga and Majo were overjoyed that the people in the village had accepted both their children.
After this meeting the people of Komodo as a sign of respect leave offerings of gems and gold at the outside of the cave home of both Naga and Majo.
Naga is now the guardian of her gems and gold, buried deep in her cave.
However, people be warned, do not think you can just take her treasure because with her power and venom she can be potentially dangerous, but show her respect and look after her twins and she will reward you with a full and rich life.
