Lusca

Lusca the terror of the Carribbean seas. With the head and body of a shark and the tentacles of an octopus can grow up to 75ft and can change colours. Lusca home is in blue holes, an extension underwater cave system in Andros, an island in the Bahamas. 

Any ship that comes near Lusca is drown and the sailors and passengers are never seen again. It's appetite is insatiable. When it can not find humans to eat it will devour any sea creatures it can wrap it's tentacles around. People that pass by the blue holes stay as quite as possible as to not attract Lusca. 

There have been reports of people seeing Lusca and even a report of a dead Lusca washing up on a beach in Bahamas on January 18th 2011.

Lusca name is used today. There is a Caribbean film festival called Lusca Fantastic Film Fest, which is hosted every year in Puerto Rico.
