Johnny Bravo

Johnny Bravo

Hello Johnny Bravo . Thank you for taking part in this interview.

Q. Could you explain to our readers who you are and what you do in the adult industry?

A. I am Johnny Bravo, a UK Male Pornstar, Adult Content Creator and I also offer Boyfriend for Hire services.

Q. How did you get started in the adult industry?

A. I started out by venturing into the swinging scene with one of my ex partners. It really turned me on the thought of sharing her with others and pushing her limits. We had such a great response from the swinging community in the first few weeks from little one minute clips we were uploading to the site that we decided to monetise our videos, seeing as most were 45 mins+ and very intense. That started our subscription pages together and then after a short stint, we parted ways and I continued pushing on with my own page and collaborating with others in the industry. After we parted, a friend of mine mentioned he was on a site offering male escorting services to women and that I would be perfect for it. So that resulted in me listing myself on the same site and offering those services to the general public. Then after a year of working solely on my subscription page, I branched out into Mainstream porn shooting for a studio within England. Now I juggle all three roles amongst a busy schedule.

Q. What would you say to our readers that they might not expect being a male working in the adult industry?

A. Everyone thinks this job is the easiest job in the world for a guy, a “dream-come-true” type vibe. I am forever shattering that illusion with friends and those I meet and speak to.

This sort of job requires so much work and effort, it is a 24/7 job, whether you are male or female. You are forever marketing yourself or your content, whether it be to potential buyers/clients, other creators you would like to work with or even studios that you want to work for. If you are not a well-known personality amongst the industry or the public in general, you can not just drop a link and expect to have 100s of subscribers or bookings in an instant and it does not matter what price you put on your services or how good your content/product is, the fact remains that you are unknown. How do you sell yourself/your product to an empty room? You can not, nobody is there with money to buy and the ones that are might be skeptical of what you have to offer until they see that you are serious about what you do.

The next issue is your ability to perform. As well as having something to offer a subscriber/a client/another creator/a studio, you have to be able to perform comfortably. That means to last long enough to get enough footage for a good sellable scene or provide a good experience for a client; get hard when required to perform; stay hard and enthusiastic throughout a performance (this can sometimes be hours if on set for a production company). You also have the added pressure when shooting professionally (and sometimes personally) to be able to pop when the time requires it. Being able to last a long time during sex is a great attribute to have in this industry, but that can be detrimental if that means you can not also pop on-command. This is something I have struggled with and have had to find ways to get me over the line when the time is needed.

It is a lot of pressure to perform in this industry and that can really affect your ability to get it up or keep it up and a poor performance on a scene for whatever reason can severely knock your confidence going forward. So I am always telling people that it is so much more than just having sex and recording it. It is that and everything that goes with that. I have not even mentioned how you have to sign the correct paperwork, get tested for STI’s every 2 weeks, edit your videos together, store everything in a structured way, upload/download times for files/videos. There is a lot more than just sex happening! However, I do love this industry and I am very thankful to be a part of it. I just have to remind people that it is not for everyone.

Q. What are your favourite parts of working in the adult industry?

A. I have always loved connecting with people and making new friends and this industry requires you to do that to succeed. And the people in this industry seem to be some of the most open-minded people I have ever met.

I have loved building a web of connections through networking with other creators and industry folk, as I find I am constantly learning new things about the industry or how others work and what has worked for them. This helps hone my craft and increase the quality or speed of my work, which provides a better overall product to my fans. I have also made great friends along the way already on my short journey and hope to continue to make many more, all whilst building a loyal fan base to support me throughout my career.

Q. You have been nominated for a UK Award for Content Creation and won a European Award in 2024. How did you feel when you found out you were nominated and won?

A. Both nominations felt amazing. I had only been in the industry a little over a year at the time and, even then, I had not really worked with anyone ingrained into the industry until six months after I had started, so just to be nominated was a massive honour that I was very proud of. The UK nomination by Snap was really fun, as I was nominated alongside a long list of amazing creators all from the England, most of which I have met and some that are good friends of mine. So that spurred a lot of healthy competition and some funny moments during that time. Although I would have loved to win, being my first year and my first ever nomination, I enjoyed being recognised in the UK amongst so many great creators.

When I was nominated for the XBiz Europa Award for Clip Artist of the Year, it caught me by complete surprise. The nomination came out-of-the-blue and I really did not think I had any chance of winning, as there were so many amazing creators nominated for this award. I had not even packed a suit for the occasion, as I had never attended an awards show before and had no idea how these things ran so, when I was told I had to wear a suit for the awards show, I had to buy one on the day of the event! There was no speech prepared, as the thought of winning had never crossed my mind. So when they announced me as the winner of my category, I had to get up in front of an audience of my peers and basically introduce myself, as I was so fresh, 95% of the people attending had no clue who I was! However, I loved every minute of that and I am very proud of that accomplishment so early in my career. It has most definitely lit a fire inside of me to create amazing work that pushes for nominations across the entire industry’s award shows.

Q. When creating your own content how do you plan what content to make?

A. I seek inspiration from other peoples’ work generally. If I see something that catches my attention or triggers a reaction from me, I bookmark it, make a note, take a screenshot and then when thinking of new ideas for content, I go back to these posts, links or notes and see what works for the type of content I could make with a performer or group of performers I have plans with. Sometimes you can get great things trying to recreate someone else’s snippet of a scene and end up creating something entirely fresh or expanding on an original idea and creating something that not many people have ever seen before. I also look at trends amongst content. For example, if I check someone’s channel on Pornhub, I then sort their videos by Most Viewed and then make a note of the themes/kinks that they are using for those videos, as it gives a good indication of what works well with the public. I will then create my own scenarios from those, so as to make an original scene from it.

Q. What can our readers expect from Johnny Bravo for the rest of 2025?

A. You can expect to see me continuing to push my brand and my content further than it has ever been before. My Pornhub account is getting filled out as we speak, with shortened versions of full scenes, so people who do not want to part with cash can hopefully enjoy a glimpse of what I do and then decide whether or not they want to see the full scene for certain uploads by way of my clip stores or subscription sites or just support me as a creator going forward. You can also hopefully start to see me on bigger and bigger productions, as I have some big goals this year that I would love to achieve. I want 2025 to be my breakthrough year in the Adult Industry and I push for that every single day.

Thank you very much Johnny Bravo for this great interview and being the first male we have interviewed for our website. Keep shining sir.
